Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Install Size is a Whopping 310 GB

We’ve gotten to a point where games’ storage sizes touching or even exceeding 100 GB isn’t an uncommon occurrence, and it’s fair to say that no franchise is as guilty of excessive storage requirements and install sizes as Call of Duty, which keeps pushing those numbers higher eRussia Lottoach year. Even so, the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s storage requirements are staggeringly high.

As mentioned on its Xbox Store page, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will require a whopping 309.8 GB of space to be installed, which means there’s a significant portion of players who’re going to need external storage- though that has often been the case with Call of Duty in recent years.

Activision recently also confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will require a persistent internet connection to be played, even if you’re playing its single-player campaign. The company says that’s down to the fact that the game will “use texture streaming across all game modes” in order to “deliver the highest-quality visuals while also reducing the game’s overall storage space on your hard drive.” Read more on that through here.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will launch on October 25 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Game Pass.
